Description
English: A young girl is pictured during the Military Stabilisation Support Team (MSST) visit to Abbazhan School and Women’s Centre in Gereshk, Helmand.

The MSST helped sink three wells and supplied books and desks for the students. The aim of the visit was to monitor previously finished and on-going projects.

The MSST is a joint service team of men and women who are responsible for identifying, initiating and monitoring military projects. These projects can range from small scale quick impact such as provision of a well to a community for drinking water to large scale heath initiatives, building schools and hydro-power plants.
